Show JULY 28, 1987 succumbs Joseph Arthur Gale, 76, died Wednesday, July 15, 1987 at his Kaysville home of cancer. He was bom Sept. 18, 1910 in Teton County, Idaho, a son of Arthur and Florence Ricks Gale. He married Mable Loraine Hen-ri- e Nove. 12, 1938 in Driggs, Idaho. They were later divorced. He married Ruth Burt Cadwell Nov. 20, 1967 in Elko, Nev. He had been a master carpenter for many years. He had worked at a sawmill and retired from the Defense Depot in Ogden. He was reared in Idaho and had lived in Wyoming and Oregon. He had resided in Kaysville the past 33 years. He attended public school in Idaho and graduated from high school in Idaho. He was a member of the Kaysville 16th LDS Ward. e He volunteered as a driver for the Meals on Wheels Program through the Silver Age Center in Kaysville for over five years. He was bom Oct. 22, 1969, in Ogden, a son of Jack R. and Judith Justesen Bean. He was a member of the West Point 4th LDS Ward, a student at Clearfield High School and studied karate. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was a certified scuba diver. Employed at Chi Chis Restaurant. Jason had lived in Sunset, San Bernardino, Calif., Clearfield and West Point. Surviving are his father and stepmother Jack R. and JoAnne Bean, West Point; his mother and stepfather, C. Property to be sold ... 0. r, Ruth Sivyer Quintana, 72, died Wednesday, July 15, 1987 at the St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden of liver failure. She was born June 12, 1915 in Cerro, N.M., a daughter of Joe E. and Emelia Sivyer Gallegos. She married Rosenaldo O. Quintana in Benaleno, N.M., in 1947. He died April 12, 1979. She was reared in New Mexico and had lived in Layton for the past 35 years. She was educated in New Mexico and was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Layton. Surviving are one son, Michael F. Quintana, Layton; seven grandchildren, Bernice Martinez, Terry Lopez, Carolyn Martinez, Shirley Martinez, Ruth Ryna, Wilfred A. Martinez, Felina Ruth Quintana and Patricia Ann Gutierrez; six Bobby, Joie, Epie, Nathan, Cami and Anthony. He was bom Aug. 20, 1946, in Hawthorne, Calif, to Russell James and Ardith Slaughter Watson. He married Emily McClintock on July 19, 1969, in Tarzana, Calif. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War and had 20 years of service. He ws an inspector for Williams International Co. The local Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will present a gift of $200 to the Davis County Library as a gesture of support to the library for its services to the elderly. This is the 13th year of the grant program, national in scope. Libraries receiving these grants are asked to purchase materials for the elderly and visually handicapped. Davis County Library will be purchasing for the new Central Branch in Layton. The new library is projected to open in approximately one year. Eagle Auxiliaries receive the grants from the Orders Memorial Foundation in appreciation of their support of the senior citizens oriented Golden Eagle Fund which the Foundation administers.
