Show Market Rallies Sharply NEW YORK (UPI) — The widely held conviction among Wall Street analysis that the stock market usually is higher at Christmas than on Thanksgiving appeared to be safely tucked away this week as demand for stocks mushroomed into one of the sharpest rallies of the year.
