One of Lei- - land's socially prominent young lames, uein iMarKnam, wno u now the new Mr. Zane, Marsdert, was honored with her groom at a wedding reception this week at the Leland ward hall following temple rites In. the Manti LDS I temple. The hall was effectively deco rated with bouquets and baskets of gladioli and roses. The bride was beautiful in a wedding gown of filmy white nylon net with a taffeta bodice.; She wore long net mitts and her; fingertip veil was attached to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a- bridal bouquet of rosebuds centered with an orchid. Acting as her matron of honor was her sister, ;Mrs. Clyde Hansen. Bridesmaids were Maridn Creer, S I CAROL JOHNSON 4 Cheyenne, Wyoming; Mrs. Louise Burbidae Dalebout, and Mrs. Rhea' Bowen; Bylund both of Provo. Tiny flower girl was Kar en Farnsworth also of Provo. Best man standing With the groom was Kay Davis. Parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs, J.- W. MarKham and an aunt and uncle of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Goble, assisted with receiving. A program fwas enjoyed with Senator Elisha Warner of Salt Lake as master of ceremonies. It Included a ladies chorus under the direction of Mrs. F. E. Beck Mrs. Robert Scholl gave an ac cbrdion selection; vocal trio, Mrs. Jennie May Thomas, Mrs. Mil dred Larsen. and Mrs. Nellie Lar sen. Reading by Mrs. Jayne Evans Tanner, trumpet solo, Leland Carroll; vocal selection, Genean Brown: Diana and organ duet Jack Isaac and Opaf Atwood. The Beta Pi trio of BYU, consisting of Lowene Wood, Marion Kohler and Shirley Fowles accompanied by Emogene Bushman, presented numbers. Guests were received at -- the door by Mr. and Mrs. F. E.
