Carter, Provo who announce her engagement to Grant C. Tingey, a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Tingey, Kaysville. Marriage rites will be solemnized ' in the Salt Lake LDS temple with a reception to follow the evening of the same day in Vineyard ward recreation hall, given by parents of the bride. Dawn Terry, Glenna Edwards, Donna Rae Stapcly and Muriel Steedman have been asked to be bridesmaids while Mrs. Keith Carter is preparing to be matron of honor at the reception. Miss Carter attended Provo high school graduating with the class of 1949. She was a member of s. the girl's organization and of the At BYU which she has been attending she was a member of the Cesta Ties. At the present time she is employed in Provo. She was also a graduate of the LDS seminary. Mr. Tingey is a student at BYU attending for the past three years. He is a member of the Knight Templar social unit and active athletically on the campus. Prior to coming to BYU he attended school at Wter anDavis high schools graduating from high school t7 seminary in 1948. A honeymoon trip to romantic Sun Valley is in store for the xouple following their marriage after which they will return to Provo to make a home while Mr. Tingey continues his studies at the Y.
