Show . Prominent Former Provo Magna Child Hit by Businessman Killed In Car, Road Crash at Panguitch Magna girl was killed Saturday when she dashed into the street and was hit by a truck. The victim was Linda Reid, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle W. Reid, 3306 South 9150 West. She was hit by a city garbage truck driven by Clem Toone, 55. Taken to the Arthur Mill hospital, she was later transferred to St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City, where she expired. Investigators said the child was running aross the street with her sister and ran into the left rear wheel of the garbage truck. Salt Lake county deputy sheriff Del Sheppick investigated the acci dent.
