MAY 4, ' 1941 PAGE ' SEV1 DANCE REVUE SET THURSDAY The annual dance revue of the Brigham Young University Dance club, under the direction of Miss Margaret ;Burton, instructor of physical education, -will be presented pres-ented Thursday, May 8, at 8 p. m. in College hall. Theme of the 1941 production will be "The Dance Art of a Country Coun-try Is Expressed Through the History His-tory of Its Own People." This theme will be portrayed by .the following dances: Puritan dance, Free dance, three dances after the manner of Isadora Duncan, Mary Wigman, and Martha Graham. Another An-other group will consist of original origi-nal dances by university students. Following- this a group of dances Bymbollzing festive, religious, and athletic moods will be presented. The next part of the program is given to dramatic dances and d.ino s Been in the ballroom in the Fifteenth century. Thus will bo followed by an exhibition of dances seen in the Twentieth century cen-tury ballroom. Three folk forms will conclude the program. Assume Charge of Jaycee Activities' J Er, D. Bridge was played, play-ed, Mrs. Delia Baum, receiving the high score favor, and Mrs. Beth Ferguson the consolation. A tasty luncheon was served at the tables to Mesdames Catherine Boyce, Louis Baum, Beth Ferguson, Fergu-son, Billie Stubbs, Dorothy Wis-comb, Wis-comb, Ida Stubbs, Helen Hull, Marion Stubbs, Eva Farley, Delia Baum and the hostess. The Beehive Girls of the ward will give the program tonight at conjoint meeting. All members of the ward and friends are invited in-vited to attend, beginning at 7130 o'clock.
