The first definite program purporting to outline needs of the farmers of the country was presented the national agricultural conference for consideration by E. B. Cornwall of Jliddlebury, Vt. The program contemplates endorsement of the action of the conference, and: (1) Development of the Muscle Shoals fertilizing plant by Henry Ford. (2) Establishment of marketing. buying and stand (3) Endorsement of the taken by the congressional agricultural bloc on tax legislation. (4) Adoption of a protective tariff for fanners.
