Creer, of Provo is a member, in the advancement of the Utah lake reclamation project. The commission approved the contract between the United States reclamation service and the State , of Utah, whereby the service will undertake sufficient preliminary investigation of the Provo-Webe- r project, and any work that has already been done in the way of investigating its possibilities, that it may determine whether the project is one in which the United States government would care to engage. The Provo-Webe- r project contemplates the utilization of surplus waters of the two river systems named now flowing into Great Salt lake, to the end that additional supply of waters may be provided for large of lands in Weber, Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Tooele counties, as well as counties higher up on both streams, .Morgan, Summit and Wasatch, which now have only a partial water supply.
