The city commissioners at their regular meeting this morning passed an ordinance embodying lhe law as passed at tbs last legislature. The ordinance makes it possible for the police officers to enforce the law within the city. It. is stated that the officers have already had occasion to call attention to the new law. The ordinance makes it unlawful for anyone to barter, sell, keep for sale, furnish or give away any cigarettes or elgarette papers in the city and forbids the advertisement of these articles.
