Has a Large Folio wing in State at this EarlyDate . 'Colonel C. E.T Loose returned r om Chicago Tuesday evening, where he went to attend the ha ional convention and took part in the "stirring scenes which occured in Chicago.. Since his return home the Colonel has made no statement with regard to his future attitude on pbliticsj but defined his position with regard to his work as national committeeman in a very definite statement. The colonel takes the stand that 72 delegates in that convention were not entitled to seats and that hiqyotipg as h4 did was not breaking the pledge which sent him to Chicago. It will be remembered that Colonel Loose was gclected as the national committeeman from Utah four years ago and that his voting in the national committee was as national committeeman and not as a delegate from this state, and while the pledge demanded that each1 man should' use all honorable means to secure President Tafts nomination, the colonels friends hold that, in fitting as national committeeman he acted in the capacity of judge of the contests and voted according to his best judgment in every instance. When the time came for voting for president, Colonel Loose feel mg that he could not act in aceord-one- e with the instructions, ''surrendered his seat in the delegation to a Taft alternate. M. M.
