Snow, whose postoffice address is Detroit, Michigan, made application in accordance with the requirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah. 1907. as amended by the Session Laws of Utah, 1909 and 1911, to appropriate ninety-fiv- e of water (95) cubic-fee- t per second from Provo River, Utah County, Utah. Said water was to have been diverted at a point which bears south 10 degrees east 2150 feet from the northeast corner of Section 12, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Salt Lake base and meridian, and was to have been conveyed by means of a canal and a pipe line for a distance of 11,400 feet and there used from January 1 to December 31, inclusive of each year, to generate power to produce electric light and to pro pel machinery In Utah and Salt Lake Valleys, Utah. After having been so diverted and used, the water was to have been returned, at a point which bears north 16 degrees 40 minutes west 1145 feet from the northeast corner of Section 24, township and Said aforesaid. range applicant now makes application in accordance with the requirement! of Section 12S8x24, Chapter 62, Session Laws of Utah, 1909, to return the said water to Provo River at a point which bears north 22 degrees 20 minutes e&Rt 460 feet from the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of Section 13, Township 6 South, Range 2 east. At snch times when the natural flow available to this application Is less plan ninety-fiv(95) second-feethen a quantity of water equal to the volume of flow of the Upper East Union Canal will be returned to said canal at a point which bears south 23 degrees 40 minutes west 500 feet distant from the south quarter corner of said Section 13. This application Is designated m the State Engineer office as No. a314.
