Pauline Lerwell. We have been studying about Holland and have found that it is a very interesting country. We have learned about dykes, windmills, wind-mills, and canals. Wc are especially espe-cially interested in the storks and how they build their nests. Fourth grade, Russell Taylor, Gloria Christensen. We have some number books in our room. We are reading abcut the rronkey family. Father monkey is the biggest monkey of all. Jo-Jo is the smallest monkey. We like the story. First grade. Our class has been studying about George Washington and the Revolutionary war. We have read many stories from different books. The highest score in the school was 99.7 per cent which was scored by Miss Men zie's fifth grade. Our score, was 99.6 per cent. We hope we will continue to do better. Sixth grade, Nila Stubbs, Somebody Building Postoffice at Last CENTRAL SCHOOL The Second Sec-ond grade is building a post office. of-fice. We did not know there were so many postoffice workers. They sell stamps, weigh packages, pack-ages, sort the mail, and put letters let-ters and packages into small boxes. Postmen come every day to bring the people their mail. Every postman has a regular route. People are glad when they see the mailman coming. Second grade. We took a trip to the public library. The librarian showed us how to use the library. She gave us library cards. We also went to the Provo Bakery. We enjoyed watching the big machines that mix, slice, and wrap the bread. The ovens are very big. The lady gave each one of us a cooky. Mrs. Rambeau's First grade. We are learning our time tables, and think they are very easy. Maybe they are easy because they are the "2s" and will be harder when we try to learn the "7s" and "8s." There have been men working in our building for a week. They calcimined and put up a sienci' border. They have painted the pipes and the woodwork. The pipes are silver. The building looks very much cleaner. Third grade. GGG GAMP IS HIGHLY RATED The Provo CCC Camp 958 has one of the highest ratings in the nation, indicated last week by the comments of James C.
