Franklin Frank-lin Thomas of Gooding, Idaho, son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Thomtas of Boise, Idaho. tastefully arranged throughout the reception rooms. Rev. N. C. Wallin of the Community church performed the marriage ceremony at' 7 o'clock, in the presence of the immediate relatives and . friends of- -A the young couple. Prof. George W. Fitzroy played Wagner's "Wedding March." The bride appeared in an elegant ele-gant creation 1 of pale cream chiffon chif-fon with pale pink, rose-bud trimmings, trim-mings, and she wore a handsome crystal necklace. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of golden Ophelia roses, pink sweet peas and baby breath, tied with cream ma-line.. ma-line.. .-, ' . "'': - Miss Ethel McCoard, sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid, and William McCoard, Jr., brother of the bride, ' acted as best man! Miss McCoard wore a dainty frock of pale green chiffon, trimmed with rninestones, and her bouquet was of pink and lavender sweet peas. During the reception which followed fol-lowed the ceremony, vocal solos were rendered by Misi Ruth Clark and Mrs. R. A. Stringham, and William McCoard furnished piano selections. A delicious tray lunch-ton lunch-ton was served, after which the bride cut and served the bride's cake. - - The 50 .guests were received at the door by the Misses Alice and Donna McCoard, and Mrs. Delia Nuttall had charge of the gifts. Frank Whiting of Charleston acted as usher. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas will reside in Los Angeles. Payson Man Is Married In Nevad a r Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Gertrude Wagner, daughter of . Mrs. Jack Haines of Fair Oaks, California, to Melden A. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. John ErTaylor of Payson. The marriage took place June 6, at Carson City, Nevada. The bride is a former student of the Sacramento junior college. 'Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the U. S. A. C. at Logan and has been teaching teach-ing school at the .San Juan Union high school in Fair Oaks, California. Cali-fornia. The newlyweds are now, visiting at the home of the parents of the groom in Payson. They will make their home in Gridley, California, where Mr, Taylor is to be agricultural agricul-tural instructor at the Gridley Union high school. Street F a ir Is Planned By Church A delicious cafeteria supper, a Japanese, garden, money saving concessions to which many leading merchants of the county have contributed con-tributed liberally of their products, fortune tellers, .delicious, home made candies, and many other interesting in-teresting events will be featured, at the great "street fair" which is to be sponsored by the young people of the Community church Friday evening, on the east lawn of the church. . The evening's program will commence com-mence at 6:30, when a cafeteria supper will be served. The slogan for the evening will be, "your nickel goes a long way." Five cents will be the popular price for all things, jand this will enable everyone every-one to secure a very substantial meal, and many interesting and necessary articles for a low price. Serving will conclude at 8 p.-m. Following the supper, the main events will be featured on the church lawn.. The beautiful Japanese Japan-ese garden will occupy the; Central place of interest, and delicious re-iroshments re-iroshments will be served for a minimum charge. SS Sewing, Luncheon At Guild Session The marriage of Miss Donna Nelson, Nel-son, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac B. Nelson of Provo, to Leo Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Allen of Vineyard, was solemnized in the Salt Lake temple Monday. Mr. and Mrs. John K. Allen and Mrs; Charles Jensen accompanied them, to the temple. The young couple left immediately immediate-ly following the ceremony for a two weeks' tour of Yellowstone park. They will also visit with relatives in Grace, Idaho. On their return, they will make their home in Vineyard. Dance Planned By.
