Show SUMMONS -IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF the First Judicial District of thelerritorr of Utah, Utah county. Elizabeth Blood, plaintiff, vs. Orson Blood, defendant, The people of the Territory of Utah send greeting to Orson Blood, defendant . You are hereby required to appear in an action brought against you by the above named plaintiff, in the District Court of the First Judicial District of the Territory of Utah, and to answer the complaint tiled therein, there-in, within ten days, (exclusive of the day of services after the service on you of this summonsif sum-monsif served within this county; or, if served out of this county, but in this district, within twenty days; otherwise within tor ty days or judgment by default will be taken against you, according to the prayer of this complaint. The said acton is brought to obtain a decree ol this court dissolving the bonds of matrimony matri-mony existing between plaintitf and defendant; defend-ant; that plaintiff be restored to ail the rights and privileges of an unmarried person; tnat plaintiff be awarded tne custody of her minor child. Robert Blood ; and that plaintiff be allowed al-lowed to resume her maiden name of Elizabeth Eliza-beth Laird, aud for costs of suit herein anft for general relief. Plaintiff alleges that she was married to the defendant in the city of Provo, county of Utah aud territory of Utah, on May 10, 18US; tnat her maiden name was Elizabeth Laird; that as an issue of said marriage mar-riage a son was born to plaintiff and defendant, defend-ant, to wit:. Robert Blood now one year old; that ever since said marriage plaintiff has been a loving, obedient and dutii ul wUe ; but ihat in the month of July, defendant deserted plaintiff and has ever since said date absented himself from plaintiff; that ever since said July 1892 and during the time between said marriage and said July 1892, defendant has wholly failed to contribute to the support or maintenance of plaintiff and eyer since the date last aforesaid, plaintiff has been compelled com-pelled to rely solely upon her own exertions for a support and livihood. For fuller and further particulars reference is hereby made to the plaintiff's complaint ! now on file herein, a conv of which is hereto And you are hereby notified that If you fail to appear and answer the said complaint as above required, the said plaintiff will apply to the court for the relief therein demanded, and costs ol suit.
