Show Thomas Duncan and Wm. Lund two very plain and ordinary drunks, were before Justice Noon yesterday and left $5 each for their spree. Having succeeded in obtaining the best and most perfect cutting machine used in the making of dresses, Mrs. Craik is now ready to serve her lady friends in all the latest styles, at her rooms, in the old Tithing building, on Centre street, opposite Court house. Call and see children's ready made suits, cheap. J. M. IIoldaway was in town cn Monday, having taken a run in from the Colorado River where he has a contract from the R. G. W. Ry. Co. to enlarge a tunnel. He reports work progressing favorably, and thinks it will be completed about May 1st. The tunnel is 500 feet long and was made when the D. & R. G. changed the grade out in that country, but it was not made large enough so Mr. Hold-away Hold-away is enlarging it so as to allow for timbering. He reports no snow in that part of the country. |
