I do a lot of zoo photography, and it takes a 350mm lens or more to get really interesting and convincing shots, even where they are locked up. We have some customers are who close to nationally-tanke- d pros in animal photography, and believe me they have more patience than Job ever thought of having. One of them has been known to sit for six or seven hours in a blind or in the reeds down by the lake to get ONE shot of a crane or an Egret. Why one shot? Because even with the lenses they have, they have to be so close to the subject that the shutter clicking sends the quarry scurrying. Why don't you come in and look through some of theit lenses in our store and let us show you (with a sirtgle-len- i reflex camera which permits you to see the subject as it will finally cone out) Just what we mean.
