He was bom June 23. in Nephi, a son of Leonard Dale and Dorene Bowles Garfield. He lived in Houston, Tex , for several years, returning to Utah one year ago. He was a roofer. Larry was a member of the LDS Church Survivors include his mother, Nephi, his father, Houston; one brother, Robert Garfield, Nephi, and a grandmother, Mrs Ruth Garfield, Mona. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p m in the Nephi Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi. Thora E. G. Butler NEW PLYMOUTH, Ida. -Graveside services for Thora Edwards Gardner Butler, 67, native of Charleston, Mrs. But'er was born Jan. 22, 1905 to George Henry and Mary Hartle Edwards. She married Fred R. Gardner on June 12, 1928 in Wallsburg, and the marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He died in February, 1966. She married Wilbur E. Butler on Oct. 28, 1968 in New Plymouth, and he died in 1970. Mrs. Butler had taught school in Wallsburg. Mr. Nielsen was born Nov. 30, 1896 in Brigham City, a son of Nicolai and Fredika Jensen Nielsen. He married Millie Huff on July 21, 1938 in Salt Lake City. He was a retired painter and a retired employee of Clearfield Naval Baso. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Nielsen was a YD long member of the Disabled American Veterans.
