W,e reaffirm and endorse the last national and state platform of the Democratic party. 2. After an examination of the two years national administration by the Republican party, do we, with still greater force and pride place in the ranks of this country's leaders and martyrs, the name of Woodrow Wilson. March 10, 1921. Such resolution provides for an amendment to the constitution raising the limit of the state contract debt to 2 per cent of all taxable property in the state. If such amendment were approved it would increase the bonding power of the state 33 3 per cent and we pledge the Democratic party to use its best efforts to defeat such amendment. We especially point out the pitiful inefficiency, economy and utter lack of constructive action of the present state and county administration. We pledge our party and its representatives to aid in every way the proposed project for reclaiming lands around Utah lake and its allied reclamation projects. We pledge our party and its officers to the strictest economy consistent with efficiency.
