Nilsson was the scene of a pretty wedding Sunday at 4 o'clock, when their daughter, Margaret Hoyt Nilsson, became be-came the bride of Raymond Bonella, son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Bonella of Los Angeles, Calif. Judge Will L. Hoyt of Nephi, an uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony. The, fireplace, in front of which the bridal party stood, was banked with gladioli and orange blossoms in a deep salmon shade 'The bride wore a filmy gown of white starched chiffon, and she held a beautiful bouquet of rosebuds. rose-buds. Charles Rakestraw of Los Angeles, was best man. - During the informal hour which followed the ceremony, Mrs. H. V. : Hoyt read a one-act play. A buffet buf-fet luncheon was served from a table set with lovely roses and a huge tiered wedding cake. Thirty family members and friends were in attendance. Tentative plans call for a banquet and entertainment "to be the main featur of the gathering gather-ing and to be held at the Fire-men's Fire-men's hall. Business men and citizens citi-zens will be welcome to attend this banquet. Special entertainment entertain-ment for the children of the gathering gath-ering will be directed by the Spanish Span-ish Fork recreational directors. Open House To Honor S. F. Pioneer SPANISH FORK Hetr T. Robertson, early settler of Span ish Fork and well known civic and church worker, will be honored at an open house, Thurs- 1ay, the occasion being the 85th anniversary of his birth. Mr. Robertson has spent most of his 85 years In Spanish Fork and has contributed to the upbuilding of the community in many ways. He was one of the first white children born in the present city of Spanish ' Fork, his parents William Robertson and Eliza Woodgut Robertson, having moved from the old Palmyra fort where an elder sister, Mrs. Emma Robertson Creer, was born 88 years years ago. The parents took active part in establishing the present city and Heber was ed ucated in the early day schools but added to his meager school ing by the careful study of good books and Is considered an ex ceptionally well read man. He followed farming until a Jew years ago When he retired He married Rosetta Jex, of .an other pioneer family and to them were born eight children, one son and five daughters of whom are living and will be in attendance at the birthday fete. They are Mrs. Elisha (Elsie) Warner, Payson, Utah; Wells Robertson, Sandy, Utah: Mrs. Katie Milner, Mrs. Iva Markham of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Lyle Williams of Vineyard; and Mrs. LuPreal Campbell of San Antonio, Texas. He has filled two missions for the L. D. S church during his lifetime. His first wife died about 15 years ago and he later married Mrs Annie Miller of Payson. He has 29 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Of a large family born to his parents only three are living, Mr. Robertson, Mrs Emma Creer and Nephi Robertson of Wyoming. The combined aris of the three remaining members of the family 245 years. His many friends are invited to call Thursday. Edgemont Mrs. Ruth Boren of Wallsburg entertained Friday evening honor ing Sam Marriotti, who leaves this week for induction in the Joasi Guard service. Thirty-five rela tives and friends enjoyed a dellc lous supper and evening of social chat. Sam and his parents, Mr, and Mrs. O. C. Marriotti were present from Edgemont. Taylor had the honor to receive, on behalf of the priests quorum, the standard quorum award, which is presented by the Aaronic priesthood committee com-mittee of the church in recognition recogni-tion for outstanding church activity ac-tivity of quorum members. The presentation was made by presiding presid-ing bishop, Marvin O. Ash ton at the Sharon stake quarterly conference con-ference Sunday. This is the first quorum to receive such an award in Sharon stake. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Snow and children are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August J. Johnson. Mrs. Snow (formerly Marjorie Johnson) attended at-tended the nurses alumni dinner, Thursday evening, at the Lion House social center in Sa!.t Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
