Show Original Easter Bonnets Are Paracfed At Beta Sorosis Fete 1 An : array of chic original Easter bonnets took trs spotlight, at the annual Beta Sorosis club's Easter breakfast, held this morning at the Hotel Roberts. -.. Always a lively function, this year's' party is bound to be "among those remembered." Each member was obliged to wear an Easter bonnet of herl own1 creation before being admitted to break-fasti break-fasti and the "committee" sent from Schiaparelli had great difficulty in choosing the prize-winning model. (Mrs. Erven J. Nelson's attractive hat was finally selected as the Easter bonnet supreme. It was fashioned from Easter colored : : dish Moths, about which were laced egg shells, and the crown was & green nest and a chicken, and ihe back trim consisting of a ye: low and purple cellophane bow. . Many varieties were seen, everyt hing from kitchen utensils, pot holders, Easter baskets, chicks and bunnies to models from the yfear 1910. Mrs. Russell Smith, mistress of ceremonies, wore a perky model made if rom a round loaf of bread and nrimmed with onions, radishes- Jand olives. Cormunity singing kept the crowd n merry mood, and Easter jokes tynd sentiments, picked from a largi; Easter basket, were read by theT members. Aftr breakfast, bridge was play Hedther and daffodils, arrang ed in three beautiful bouquets, dec-oratefcl dec-oratefcl the table, and the place cards of Easter design, featured the club colors, cream and helio trop J. Birthday parties were given at the play school during the past week for Elmo Hill and Kent Hurst. Lieutenant William McKell was home from Wendover last week end to visit with his mother, Mrs. Mary McKell. Mr. and Mrs. La Mar Loutensock Louten-sock and three sons and John Loutensock of Magna, visited here Sunday. Mrs. John Loutensock, who has been here for two weeks, accompanied them home. Darrell Jones, came from the mission heme in Salt L3ke City to spend the week end here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Jones. He left this weekfor the North California Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Powell of Magna visited relatives and friends in Payson Sunday. Payson Second ward entertained entertain-ed at a very successful social in the recreation hall for all members mem-bers of the Aaronic priesthood in the Nebo stake. It was arranged to honor the boys who won standard quorum awards. Three of the five awards in the stake went to the Second ward. The entertainment en-tertainment was under the direction dir-ection of the ward bishopric, Kenneth Tanner, Arthur Hen-drickson Hen-drickson and Walter Rigby. Paul Hurst served as general chairman. Redd, who is moving to Salt Lake City, was the luncheon given by the Past Presidents' Presi-dents' organization of the Women's Wo-men's Council, at the Edna Mae Hedquist home. Each member present read and presented a sentiment to Mrs. Redd, also a past president, and she was given a beautiful gardenia gar-denia corsage. She responded with words of appreciation, also, she extended an invitation for the group to meet with her at her home in Salt Lake, in October. A reorganization was effected, Mrs. W. T. Hasler, retiring secretary sec-retary and treasurer, succeeding Mrs. C. E. Maw as president, for the coming year. Mrs. George H.' Brimhall was named secretary and treasurer.
