T 'Dutch' Dates At Loan Ball All dates will be "Dutch" dates Friday , night at Brlgham Young university, as the Sophomores sponsor the annual Loan Fund ball to raise funds to aid students in completing their education, according ac-cording to George R. IIUl, Jr., of Salt. Lake City, chairman. The traditional ball is unusual because two tickets are sold to each couple attending one to the man and one tc the co-ed. In this way equal opportunity is given to all students to contribute toward a worthwhile cause, Mr. Hill explained. ex-plained. - With the theme of "crinoline craze,', a gay '90 atmospnere will predominate in the women's gymnasium gym-nasium where the ball will be held Friday night. Decorations will reflect re-flect the -age when hoop skirts, bustles, mustache cups, and tandem tan-dem bicycles were the vogue. Although the "trimmings' of the ball will be in the style of a" generation gen-eration ago, the dance will strike a modern note in that it will be the first semi-formal student body dance of the year. This is Interpreted Inter-preted by students to mean that co-eds will have the first opportunity oppor-tunity to display their formal gowns.
