Events Gubernatorial Candidates Plan Debate Nebo Schools Schedule Indian Education Program A Tuesday meeting for Nebo District Indian ed:ation will t. 16, 1984 at 5 p.m. in the Goshen Elementary School, located in Goshen, Utah. The purpose of the meeting is to plan the Nebo School District Title IV-Indian Education program for the be-Oc- 1984-8- 5 Bv parent advisory committee to help direct the project. All interested people, including parents and foster parents of Indian students, teachers of Indian students, and Indian secondary students, are invited to attend. L. Embry will speak on Techniques of Doing Oral History on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the monthly meeting of the Utah Valley Chapter of the Utah Genealogical Association. The meeting which is open to all who are interested will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Room 6225 of the Harold B. An Orem teenager ASSAULT reported he was assaulted Sunday evening by a driver who jeered at him and friends about being "punks." The youth said when he called himself a street fighter, the man got out of his vehicle and hit the teen in the face several times, then drove off. The victim said his assailant was a black male, about 21 years old, muscular with a mustache. He was last seen driving east on 800 North in a blue Cherokee jeep with brown siding and three passengers. Cleon Skousen, retired BYU professor and founder of the Freeman Institute, will present an introduction to the new series of seminars on the United States Constitution and the roots of the American Ideal of self government.
