She was born Aug. 24, 1894, In Provo, the daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth Hatton Buckley. She attended school in Provo and graduated from Brigham Young In March, 1913, she Academy. married Lester C. Ashton in Provo. They made their home in Ely, Nev., later, moving ;to Idaho and to Ogden establishing their home in Provo in 1935. He died in 1938. In 1943 she moved to San Diego, later moving to Portland, then made her home in Englewood last December. She was a member of the LDS Church serving as Relief Society teacher and president of the YWMIA. She is survived by one son and two daughters: Harold Lester Ashton of San Diego, Mrs. Howard (Leah) Feast, Englewood, Mrs. L. L.
