Some of the salaries of the city employes were uion the recommendation of the various standing committees reduced below what they have been during the last year. The city attorney's salary was reduced from $400 to $200 a year. The city marshal was reduced from $115 to $110 per mouth. The nlghtwatchman was reduced from $104.50 to $100 per month. The appointments made together with the salary paid is as follows: Henry Clark appointed city marshal at a salary of $110 per month; Lewis Cutler, nigbtwatchman at $100 per month; Korris Averett, it mm 11 I W.
