NEWSPAPER SURVEY : The newspaper survey conducted in The Daily Herald circulation area yesterday showed The Daily Herald going into 72 homes of 80 on Second South street, where inves tigators Thursday found anyone at home to answer ques tioris as to newspapers readThe survey is being made to give national advertisers accurate statistics about newspaper circulation in Utah county. .On Second South street the investigators called at 91 dwellings: 11 were not at home. In the other 80 it was - learned that Daily Herald goes into 72 homes ; Provo Post goes into 22 homes ; Herald and Post, both, go into 14 homes ; Daily Herald, only, is taken by 58 homes; Post, only, is taken by 8 homes. One or more Salt Lake papers are taken in 57 of these homes. The survey on five streets and the Lakeview county road, already made, shows The Daily Herald leading the combined circulation of all three Salt Lake papers, 358 to 319 ; and leading the other Provo paper by 358 to 134.
