This announcement was made this morning by Alex Hedquist, president, and Edgar J. McArthur, of the Provo Kiwanis club. Walter Adams, manager i of .the Utah Valley Gas & Coke company. and who is one of the directors pf the Provo Kiwanis club, has been asked to carry the message of 'this county's scenic assets to the international Kiwans convention. President Hedquist, McArthur and Mr. Adams will go to Salt Lake City early next week to confer with Union Pacific railroad of ficials in an effort to borrow the photographic slides of Grand Canyon. Cedar Breaks, and Zion Canyon. To these the Kiwanis club will add photo. graphic slides ot Mt. Timpanogos, Trovo Canyon, and other scenic soots of the county. An opportunity will be given Kiwanis clubs of other cities in the county to add slides of local scenery,' all of which Mr. Adams will show at the Toronto convention, ex plaining these wonder places of nature. "We hope the Union Pacific will lend us their slides, for without them we could not make a showing sufficiently interesting for an international convention," Mr. Hedonist said. 'This method of advertising the scenic wonders of the county is excellent," said Elmo Cunningham, secretary ot the Provo Chamber of Commerce. It is believed that the Utah Countv Outdoor association will aid in the gathering of slides for this purpose. o be advertised TODAY Depot street is not to be paved this "Many residents of Provo are opsummer, according to Harry Heal, of BOX SCORES OF GAMES the Provo Consolidated Real Estate posed to the wholesale destruction of COUNTY HOSPITAL IS in the trees the said ," who a to Infor-wlt- h city cemetery company, presented petition Kiwanis club's invitation The Dally Herald will print box William McCoard this morning. the city commission Monday evening f mal dance, Ladles' gym, scores of all Central Utah league be"Too he trees."
