Farren Nielsen and his bride the former Sytha Peterson, were honored. The young couple were married early that morning in the Salt Lake temple, by Apostle Richard R. Lyman, with the bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Erastus Peterson Peter-son and the groom's mother, Mrs. J. E. Nielsen in attendance.. Also, Mrs .Hazel Jackson, a friend of the bride. The groom's father was unable un-able to attend . For her wedding the bride chose a lovely gown of white lace over satin, en train, and her fingertip finger-tip veil of net fell from a crown of pearls. She carried choice roses. Attending as bridesmaids were: Elizabeth Peterson, in pale blue satin; Lois Nielsen, in white taffeta taf-feta with blue trimmings; Iona II Nielsen, wearing pink satin with blue trimmings; Betty Curtis, frocked in yellow dimity, and June Pierson, in green and white silk. Their corsages were of roses. Sgt. Wendell Allred was best man. Dancing was enjoyed by the many guests, and a program was in charge of Wesley Knudsen. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Handsome Hand-some gifts were received by the newlyweds. They wlil make their home in Brigham City, where Sgt. Nielsen, of the medical division of the army ,is stationed at Biuhneil hospital. Carrie Jacobs Bond Program Given Meeting at the home of Mrs. Ethel Slack Thursday evening, members of the A. L. R. club. Chapter No. 6, enjoyed an interesting inter-esting program. Assisting hostesses hos-tesses were Mrs. Grace Croft. Mrs. Elsie Moffitt and Mrs. Hannah Oldroyd, and the president, Mrs. Irene N. Rowan, presided. Miss Elizabeth Souter reported on the Red Cross work being done by the group, and Mrs. Laura Spalding gave the favorite poem. Mrs. Josephine Johnson presented the life of Carie Jacobs Bond, and a number of her compositions were furnished, as follows: A double trio, composed of Mrs. Lucile Slaugenhoup, Mrs. Zenith Johnson, Mrs. Grace Croft, Mrs. Irene Rowan and Mrs. Hannah Oldroyd, sang, Miss Jean Slack favored with a violin solo, ,and Mrs. Ethel Slack sang. Mrs. Slack accompanied all the numbers. The story, "The Outcast of Poker Flat," by Bret Hart was presented by Mrs. Wanda Snow. Refreshments were served to 32 women, including the guests, Mrs Hazel, Robertson, Mrs. Madge Christensen of Payson. 4-CClub Party Enjoyed An evening of cards was enjoyed enjoy-ed by the 4-C club member at the home of Mrs. Walter Liddiarc Thursday.
