Mr. Cobbley Cobb-ley is the son "of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Cobbley of Liodon. Miss Paul and Mr. Cobbley are graduates of the local high school and seminary. Mr. Cobbley has come from his work in Ohio for the ceremony. Reynolds Club At Canyon Dinner A delightful summer party, in the form of a hot dinner" at the canyon home of Mrs. Joseph Nelson Nel-son in Vivian Park, was enjoyed by members of the Alice Louise Reynolds club, Chapter No. 6, Monday evening. Santaquin SANTAQUIN Mr. and Mrs. Bert VanAusdal have received word from their son Alan of his safe arrival in San Diego. He was on the Lexington during the Coral Sea battle. He is in a San Diego hospital readying treatment treat-ment for a leg injury. He had just recovered from a serious cut on his leg which had required twenty - three stitches. While abandoning the aircraft carrier his leg was badly bumped. Mrs. Roy Olson was a recent hostess to her sewing club. An enjoyable evening was spent by all members present. Mr. and Mrs Leslie Rees have returned to Santaquin from Moroni Mo-roni with their little daughter Carol Gay and new, baby. The "500" club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Cora Olson. Frank Ward of 1920-21st, Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Provo, to Weldon R. Orme an event of June 6, at the L. D. S. mission home in Cambridge, Mass. Mr. Orem is a son of Mrs. Gladys Orme and the late Attorney Marshall Orme of Mountainaire, New Mexico. Nuptials rites were performed by Elder Weston of the L. D. S. church, by special permission of the mission president. The altar was beautifhlly decorated with tall TfghMf "tapWS". The young bride was attired in a chic model of black cable net, with large white collar, and white hat and gloves, and she carried a bouquet of roses and lilly-of-the-valley. The young couple were attended by Dr. and Mrs. William S. MCEwan of Cambridge, Dr. McEwan being a cousin of the bride. After the ceremony, refreshments were served in the Mission home. The bride is well known in Provo, and since leaving here with"her family, she has attended high school and the University Univer-sity of New Mexico, ir. Albuquerque, New Mexico, and TVxas Tech college in Lubbock. Mr. Orme rf-ceived his B. S. degree in mechancial engineering from 'the University of New Mexico, college of engineering, He was president of the Sigma Tau national honorary engineering fraternity, also, president of the student senate. He was active in other national engineering societies and student events. The newly weds are at home at 175 Ocean Street, apartment 26, Lynn Mass., where Mr. Orme is employed. The bride's parents, and her sister. Miss Barbara Lee Ward, who still resides in Albuquerque, accompanied the bride to Washington. D. C, w"here they were entertained at dinner by Congressman and Mrs. J. Will Robinson from Utah. Dr. John S. Rupper and sister, Miss Virginia Rupper, cousins of the bride, also entertained. It was the first time the Blairs had heard from Merrill in two and one-half months as hehad been on convoy in the Pacific.
