Carrying- out the April Fool theme, dinner was served backwards, back-wards, beginning with dessert, A humorous program was given by " Shirley Salm of Murray, Kay Sum-merhays, Sum-merhays, Carole Roberts and June . Neilson of Salt Lake City, Edna Clegg of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Josephine Seaton of Price. Each of the fourteen girls was toasted and presented with a gift after dinner. Tiny birthday cakes were set at their places. The honored hon-ored girls were Adel Ransbottam of Preston, Idaho; Lois Wads-worth Wads-worth of New York City; Mignon Merrill and Eileen Spencer of Pocatello, Idaho; LuJean Olpin of Pleasant Grove, Helen Olpin of Columbia, Ohio; Norma Sanders of Malta, Idaho; Lora Hilton of Delta, Carole Roberts and Irene Covey of Salt Lake City; Eleanor Jorgensen of Price, Merlene Stevens of Hurricane; Elaine Cook of Shelley, Idaho; and Elaine Rennie of Idaho Falls. Taylor. Miss Elizabeth Souter was named first vice president; Mrs. Joseph Nelson, second vice president, presi-dent, and Mrs. Kenneth Weight, secretary. The evening's program was on "Minstrels," Mrs. Lynn Hayward giving "an " interesting paper on the theme. Mrs. William Oldroyd had the correlative music in charge, which included two solos by Douglas Stott, accompanied by Mrs. Ernest Rasmuson, and banjtf selections played by Enoch Clark. Delicious refreshments were served to 23 members by the hostesses: Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. George Sandgren, Mrs. Oscar Garrett Gar-rett and Mrs. S. H. Jones. Club Party Is Enjoyed A pot-luck luncheon was held by the 4-C club members at the home of Mrs. Olive Williams Thursday afternoon. Five-hundred was played, Mrs. C. A. Cox and Mrs. Jerry Hanks receiving the favors. Mrs. Mamie Vincent and Mrs. Delia Adams of Pleasant Grove, were guests, and members present pres-ent were Mrs. Hazel Hundley, Mrs. Moorlan Snow, Mrs. Jerry Hanks, Ms .C. A. Cox and Mrs. Harold Sorenson. Sixth Ward Gleaner Notice Ail Gleaner girls of the Sixth ward are to meet Saturday evening eve-ning at ,7:30 o'clock at the church to make preparations for the formal for-mal sheaf -binding ceremonies to be held at sacrament meeting Sunday Sun-day evening at 6:30 o'clock. Girls are to meet, in formal attire, at-tire, Sunday at 5:30 o'clock, it Is announced, and a full attendance is necessary before the sheaf-binding can be accomplished, the officers of-ficers report. Thurs-day. " Miss Gladys Kotter gave an interesting in-teresting illustrated talk 'on her travels through South America, and showed many souvenirs and pictures colLectcd on the trip. Many of her attractive handmade hand-made articles were employed in the colorful table appointments, a huge Mexican basket filled with fruits and bright-hued flowers centering the speakers table. Smaller baskets of fruit were along the table, also, a variety of pottery and figures, i Two accordion selections were played by Kulin Marshall,, and two South American numbers were furnished on the piano by Mrs. Owen P. Henlnger. Thirty members attended, and the president, Mrs. J. W. Thornton, Thorn-ton, presided. Mrs. W. A. Marshall, Marsh-all, Mrs. Paul Huish, Mrs. Riley Clark and Mrs. Prank Johnson were in charge. Easter decorations proved gay and pretty, and a delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served. Mrs. Charles Giles won the high score prize and Mrs. Harry McCoard, the consolation favor.
