T tTODERN 1VJ1ENUS - BEEF HASH LOAVES (Serve 4 to 6) Two cups finely chopped cooked potato, 3 ;ups minced roast or boiled beef or soup meat, gravy or" milk' to moisten, salt and pepper to taste, 1 tablespoon minced onion fine dry bread crumbs. Combine the potato and meat; add enough gravy to stick it to gether and season with salt and pepper. Butter muffin pans or custard cups; line with the crumbs, pack in meat mixture and bake in a moderately hot oven (375 de grees F.) until lightly browned- about 30 minutes. Serve with horseradish sauce. CORN AND - POTATO MUFFINS One egg, 2 tablespoons melted shortening, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 cup milk, 1 cup mashed potato, 1 1-8 cups corn meal, 4 tablespoons baking power, 1 teaspoon salt. Beat egg. Add shortening, sugar and milk.
