LA. Arts Program Features Dance Review The M. I. Arts Program, to be held .Wednesday :. evening at 7:30 o'clock in the Third ward hall, will feature a dance re view . Artistic numbers in tango, fox trot and ballet will be presented also clever acrobatic acts. The Mrs. R. L. Rcid Heads Council Evening Fashions Taking to Cover general chairman on arrange merits. "':-;, Committees will soon be an nounced by Mrs. Hasler and Mrs. S. R. Boswell, council president who are Working out plans for a delightful benefit function. Boys and girls are to call in the afternoon, and the adults, both men and women, will attend in the evening. Free-will offerings will be accepted, and much-needed books are to be purchased with the funds realized from the tea. The council women are empha sizing the fact , that the library belongs to the people , of Provo and their pride will be increased with the knowledge that they have assisted in filling its shelves with the best current books. The upkeep of the new building Is con Biderably higher than the former. consequently the funds with which to purchase . books has been de creased. Book drives from time to time are greatly appreciated by tne library board, but there la need for funds with which to pur- cnase current books much In a& mand by the public, the , women report. : Everything possible is being done by the council to make this project both successful and delightful, de-lightful, and the public is urged to cooperate in putting over the snver tea. . 4 . .. , . . 1 Mrs. Ercanbrack Reads Play Mrs. Sterling Ercanbrack read a current three-act play, before a large group of federated club women of Price, Monday evening in the clubrooms of the Price municipal building. The Literary League of Price, was hostess to the other federated clubs on this occasion. ' Mrs.-Reagan Goes To Kansas Meet Mrs. Albert B. Reagon is leaving this evening for Wichita, Kansas, to attend a meeting of the Kansas Academy 1 of Science. Mrs. Reagan's presence at the meeting will be in the interest of the Albert B. Reagan Endowment fund which she arranged following Mr. Reason's death, and which la used to assist needy students. This will - be the fourth award. The Trovoan will return in two weeks. Reid was elect ed president of the Women's Council, for next year, at the open session held Monday after noon at the Women's clubhouse. Mrs. S. R. Drysdale, secretary; Mrs. H. A. Hansen, treasurer, and Mrs. S. J. Jones, auditor. These women will act as delegates dele-gates to the state convention, to be held in Salt Lake City in April.
