Motion pictures of mining and mining methods were provided free of charge at various hours in the mining building. The strategic mineral displays furnished by the mines and the United States Bureau of mines were of interest to the general public as well as prospectors and scientific people. There was keen interest among mineral collectors who each year are growing in number, and cash awards were made in this group. |
