THE WONOMIAN SYSTEM OF EDUCATION Tha Wonomian educational system embodies a system of training which more than tha putting of something into tha mind of man to later be returned with interest; means more than tha training of mans a faculties into their most useful expression. It means the tapping of man inborn his mind to hie of express tha training innate intelligence and of something aptitude and tendencies. It means the development it. You educator one expressed as already fine into something finer, cannot gather figs from thistles, nor can the reverse be true. Mans life should be an unfoldment of his real selL While not new, and not ever having been given more than a scant consideration by educators, the idea of man having an inborn, now become the chief cornerstone of the Wonomian system of education. Followed closely by the companion idea, an idea somewhat new to the majority of people, that of man having also inborn aptitudes nrl tendencies. Such are the basic ideas of the Wonomian system of scholastic training. Being based upon such ideas makes the Wonomian new system a new school of thought in the field of education and opens up misfit education of prevathe in percentage high possibilities preventing lent today. Tlien students will really become prepared to meet successfully the problems of life. HOW IT WILL WORK All students, upon entering school, shall first be given a general education; sufficiently varied to give a rudimental expression to any talent a student may have. A policy followed today in our schools. From this point on however comes the essential difference between the two systems. Under the present system, the true teacher does her best to encourage a student to follow up the development of his outstanding aptitudes. So many successful people today can be thankful for the encouragement and fietiiiwi given by their teachers. Tha sad part of it te that such cases are the exception. How many others are there, just as talented, whose teachers success could have been just as outstanding, if our could have but given them more time and attention? The number would be legions, for each person has it within his power to be successful in some particular work if his talent could be discovered and developed. It can be done; only under a different set-u- p, properly supervised. Let experts, trained especially for that work, make tecta of each student two or three times a year; oftener, if necessary. And let the testa be for tha students aptitudes, instead of intelligence. After all, tha intelligence test but shows a student's degree of educability in general; not his aptitudes. As a result many a student, ranking low in his L Q. (intelligence quotient), has become outstanding aa his particular aptitude was found and developed. Edison was such a student. How much more important te it to discover a students talents and train him in their proper expression, than it te to see how intelligent he te? Discover and develop his aptitudes, and give him a good general education; then he can express his talents intelligently te that not tha best indication, after all, of a person's intelligence?
