Sportsmen Elect New Directors Last Thursday, Brian Fugal Named to Head Group for Year One hundred enthusiastic sportsmen sports-men of the local area were present pres-ent at the January 9 meeting of the Pleasant Grove Sportsmens Association. President Orval Carter Car-ter conducted the proceedings. Short talks on the various phases of the wildlife program were riv en by Jack Ahlhouse, Big Game representative, Wildlife Division, of Utah Fish and Game Department; Depart-ment; Jerry Hill, local Forest Ranger Ran-ger and Norman Hancock, Range Supervisor for the Utah Fish and Game Department. The annual financial report was read by Association Secretary-Treasurer Secretary-Treasurer Dave Green and accepted accept-ed by the members present. In the annual election of new members on the board of directors, the following were chosen: Vern Goode, Louis Ramorini, J. D. Wadley, Wad-ley, Garth Gillman, Keith Jense, William E. Robison, and Lealand Carter. Holdover directors are Brian Fugal, Byron Carter, George R. Paul and Orval Carter. Following the election, Oscar Hansen of Provo showed and explained ex-plained a colored film on Cougar Hunting 'and light refreshments were served. On Monday night, January 13, the board of directors met at the city hall and eleoted officers for 1958. They are: Brian Fugal, president; pres-ident; Keith Jense, vice president and Garth Gillman, secretary-treasurer. |
