Show Utah County Farm Bureau Convention Next Wednesday The annual convention of the Utah County Farm Bureau will be held Wednesday, January 31, at I the New Palmyra Stake House in Spanish Fork. The convention will start at 9:45 A. M. with special spec-ial meetings for the Commodity Groups, the Canning Crops Association, Assoc-iation, and the Association Women The Commodity groups include dairy, fruit, poultry, commercial j vegetables livestock, boys 4-H clubs, irrigation, and a special committee on county roads. In each of these groups special attention at-tention will be given to the problems prob-lems of each sestion. Thea annual Canning Crops meeting will be held at this time under the direction of A. W. Chambers National Canning Crops Chairman. He will discuss contracts con-tracts and other related problems. Election of officers for the coming year will be taken care of. The Assocated Women have an interesting program arranged un- der the direction of Mrs. Margaret Bromley, County Chairwoman for the morning meeting. They are also sponsoring a rug and candy contest with prizes for the winners. win-ners. A prize will also be given to the local with the largest attendance attend-ance at the ladies meeting. A noon banquet, will be held. The afternoon meeting for the combined groups will be held under un-der the direction of S. W. Clark, County President. An address of welcome will be given by Mayor Neilson of Spanish Fork. A special spec-ial speaker from the California State Farm Bureau will give the main address. Other entertainment has been arranged for, along with reports from the President and secretary and the election of officers. |
