Show Leo P. Harvey Is Re-elected Farm Bureau President Election of officers of the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Farm Bureau was held Thursday, January 18, in connection connect-ion with the luncheon of the farm bureau members and their wives at the Alpine Grill. Leo P. Harvey was reelected president; J. H. Armitstead vice president; S. Duane Harper, Sec-and Sec-and J. LeRoy Thome," Glen Matthews, Mat-thews, Boyd Anderson, directors. Committee appointed to attend the State Farm Bureau meeting at Spanish Fork on January 31, were: Fruits, Clifton Harper; Dairy, Paul Blackhiirst; Beef, J. L. Thome; Vegetables, Howard Warnick; Irrigation, Irving West; 4-H Clubs, Kenneth Harvey; Roads, Boyd Anderson; Coop Improvement, Im-provement, S. Duane Harper. At the ladies farm bureau meeting meet-ing following the luncheon, Mrs. L. P. Harvey was elected president; presi-dent; Mrs S. Duane Harper, vice president with Mrs. Glen Matthews, Mat-thews, secretary; Mrs. Boyd Anderson, And-erson, and Mrs. W. D. Chapman were named advisors. Each was urged to attend the Farm Bureau convention at Spanish Span-ish Fork on January 31, beginning begin-ning at 10 o'clock. Allen Olson president of the Cache county farm bureau was guest speaker and discussed farm bureau policies; Rex Gourley talked talk-ed on F. F. A work, and County Agent S. R. Boswell talked on farm problems. Velyn Stevens, Utah county home demonstration agent conducted con-ducted the organizing and election of officers in the new ladies farm bureau. Mrs. A. J. Bromley, president of the Utah county ladies farm bureau bur-eau was also a speaker. |
