Mrs. Benjamin Holman returned Sunday from a week's visit with her sister, Mrs. Mary Mercer, ' at Salt Lake City, and her daughter, Mrs. Helen Colburn, at Murray. Mrs. Blanche Jackson of Los Angeles, An-geles, California, is at the home ; of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jacobs caring car-ing for their family while Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs are in Twin Falls, Idaho, Ida-ho, on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Larson returned Sunday evening from a week-end trip to Twin Fallls, Idaho, Ida-ho, where they visited with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Larson. Bishop S. L. Swenson and John Halliday took a horseback trip through the mountains Thursday. The mountain scenery is especially beautiful and these two "boys" could not resist the lure of the hills. Lyean Johnson gave a talk on his trip to the World's Fair, at the Second ward M. I. A. Tuesday evening. eve-ning. Adams the past week. Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Jensen are sisters. Word has been received of the serious illness of Mrs. Rhea Clark Maupin, of Teague, Texas, formerly former-ly of this city. She has been in the hospital for the past three weeks receiving treatment. Josiah Kemp, chief of the local fire department, gave a talk Tuesday Tues-day evening at the Second ward M. I. A. in regard to "Fire Prevention Preven-tion Week." Mr. and Mrs. John Green of Mills, Utah, were in Pleasant Grove Tuesday on business and to visit with relatives. Miss Amy Cooper has been visiting visit-ing during the past week with relatives rel-atives and friends in Ogden and Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren visited vis-ited Sunday with Mr. Boren's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Boren, in Wallsburg. Mr. and Mrs. Fin Price of Pheo-nix, Pheo-nix, Arizona, who came to Utah to attend conference, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren Thursday. Thurs-day. They were enroute home. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Giles ad son, Jimmie, of Los Angeles, spent Thursday Thurs-day and Friday here, the guests of James D. Thome and family. Mrs. Mary J. George Peterson came home Wednesday Wed-nesday after four days at the American Amer-ican Fork hospital, where he had been for medical treatment. Arlan Bastian and Mabelle Farr were in Salt Lake City Saturday to attend the M. I. A. dance section sec-tion of the conference, to learn the dance that is to be a feature of the Green and Gold Ball the coming season. Mr. and Mrs. Ole Christiansen, Pete Christiansen and M. S. Christiansen Christ-iansen and Mrs. Alfred Bezzant, were in Salt Lake Tuesday. They called at the L. D. S. hospital to visit with Norma- Christiansen Adamson, who is seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Walker visited vis-ited Friday evening and Saturday with Tooele relatives and attended attend-ed conference in Salt Lake Sunday, Sun-day, returning Sunday evening. Mrs. Walker's sister, Miss Edith Lindberg of Tooele, returned home with them for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Milford Gardiner and Mrs. Ernest Jense were Salt Lake visitors Tuesday. Mrs. Jense vidited with her husband, Ernest jense, who is in the L. D. S. hospital hos-pital convalsing from an operation for appendicitis and gall bladder trouble. Mrs Mary A. Boulter entertained at a wedding dinner Wednesday evening in honor of her daughter, and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Harding, who were married Monday , in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr and Mrs. John Hunter of j American Fork and Mrs. Lavina Fugal spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City visiting beautiful flower gardens. Mrs. Fugal's home gar-don gar-don at the present time is one of the beauty spots of Pleasant Grove Anyone who loves flowers should visit the home of Mrs. Fugal or Mrs Dittmore in the Windsor ward before the frost blackens the dahlias dah-lias and other flowers.
