Show Valley View PTA Sets Eection for Thursday, Mar. 25 Valley View P.T.A. announces an-nounces their upcoming election for the vice-presidency. vice-presidency. On Thursday, M Mar. 25. all dues-paid P.T.A. members will have the opportunity op-portunity to choose betweeen Madeline Banner and Shirly Best as the vice-president for the 1976-77 year. The woman selected will then become the president of the P.T.A. for the following year. Madeline Banner resides at 1276 East Nathaniel Drive and has been a resident of Pleasant Grove for one year. She and her husband, Wilbur, traveled with the Air Force, spending three years in Colorado and living in Ft. Worth, Texas, just prior to their move here. Madeline studied ballet for seven years, and so lists it among sewing, tole painting, tennis, and playing the marimba as her present hobbies. Much of her time was spent working as a nurse-receptionist for a veterinarian and as a teacher's aide before she had her two boys- a kindergartener and a three and a half year old Shirley Best and her husband, Gary live at 194 East 2nd South with their four children. David, Danny, Lori and Tiffanee. After graduating from Snow College in business she then spent seven years working for Central Bank and Trust. During her 3'2 years in Pleasant Grove she has enjoyed en-joyed sewing, handicrafts and sports as hobbies. Shieley has served in secretarial positions, as a primary teacher and as sports director in the LDS Church. Both of these women are well qualified to serve as the upcoming up-coming vice president of the Valley View PTA. but it takes your vote at the PTA meeting on March 25 to place one of them there. |
