Jones, of Pleasant Grove, has recently recent-ly returned from serving in the California Long Beach LDS Mission. She will speak in a sacrament sacra-ment service Sunday, Jan. 11 at 11 a.m. in the Grove-creek Grove-creek 10th Ward, 475 N. 700 East, Pleasant Grove. Elder Lance Farrington Koeven, son of Britt and Tena Koeven of Pleasant Grove, has recently returned from serving in the Arkansas Little Rock LDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament sacra-ment service Sunday, Jan. 11 at 2:50 p.m. in the Battle Creek 1st Ward, 1250 E. 200 South, Pleasant Grove. Erika Swensen to wed Kenneth Turner Jan. 10 Lyman and Dottie Swensen of American Fork are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Erika Lauren Swensen to Kenneth Turner, son of John and Irene Turner of Cedar Hills. The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Moore Villa, 9914 N. 4000 West, Cedar Hills. The newlyweds will be honored at a reception that same evening at the same address from 7 to 9 p.m. All friends and family are invited invit-ed to attend. The bride-to-be is a graduate grad-uate of Pleasant Grove High School, a student at UVSC and is employed in Orem. The prospective groom is a graduate of Pleasant Megan Jones earns YW award Megan Elizabeth Jones, daughter of James M. and Linda Jones, of Pleasant Grove, received her Young Womanhod Recognition award Nov. 16, 2003. She is a member of the Grovecreek 10th Ward. For her projects she made a quilt, helped with special needs mutual, served in the youth court and read the Book of Mormon. Mor-mon. She is in the 12th grade at Pleasant Grove High School. She loves sports and has participated in volleyball Trent Colledge to marry Kristine Colledge of Lehi is pleased to announce the marriage of her son Trent D. Colledge, to Heather Palmer, daughter of Stanley and Janice Palmer of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Trent is also the son of the late Victor Colledge. The couple exchanged vows in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple Dec. 30. A reception honored the newlyweds that same evening in Idaho Falls. An openhouse will be held in their honor Jan. 9 ' 'j ' Y i i Kenneth Turner Erika Swensen Grove High School and is a student at UVSC, he is employed at Sterling Structures Struc-tures Company. The couple will make their first home at Cedar Hills. u Megan Jones and softball. She is working and planning on college. She loves to swim, ski and snowboard. Both newlyweds are attending UVSC. Trent served in the Argentina Neuquen LDS Mission. The couple will make their first home in Provo. Elder Keith Lindstrom, son of Larry and Deanne Lindstrom of Lehi, has been called to serve in the Philippines Philip-pines Naga LDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament sacra-ment service Sunday, Jan. 11 at 9 a.m. at 145 E. 1500 North, Lehi. There will be an open house held at his home from 3 to 5 that afternoon. He will enter the MTC on Jan. 14. Larry Rees to marry Brittany Ann Rivest and Larry Andrew Rees have chosen to wed in the Lindon 4th Ward church on Jan. 8. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Sherwood of Orem. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rees of Pleasant Grove. A reception will honor the newlyweds that same evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lindon 4th Ward, 731 E. Center Street, Lindon. Lin-don. All friends and family are invited to attend. Couple celebrates three milestones By Kalyn Secretan Dean and Delia Davis were honored at a surprise celebration on Jan. 3 in honor of their 60th birthdays birth-days and their 40th wedding wed-ding anniversary. Dinner was served with a program following. Family and friends arrived for the event with some of the guests coming from out of state for the party. Dean's birthday is on Jan. 6 and Delia's is Jan. 7. Their anniversary is on Feb. 7. The event was held at their church building that was decorated with poinset-tias poinset-tias and a picture gallery with Dean and Delia as babies, children and as adults and included memories memo-ries all through the years. A quilt was on display with the hand prints of all the children and grandchildren, grandchil-dren, their hand prints will be added and the quilt will be completed for. their anniversary. 1 Some of the guests took the opportunity to roast the couple and tell about humorous events. Each of the eight chil dren were featured on a video with memories of their growing up years. They told of funny times, what they admired about their mom and dad and wishes for the future.
