Villanelle and The Waiting are the featured acts. They emphasize the rock style of music while singing "good, clean lyrics Seating is limited to 600, and will be done on a first come, first served basis. Blackhurst V? s 1 Our beloved mother and grandmother, grand-mother, Wanda Bernice Berry Blackhurst, 82, Pleasant Grove, passed away on July 1, 1995 after a life of loving service to family, fam-ily, church and community. She was the daughter of Lysander and Fannie Neat Berry, born Oct. 8, 1912 in Cedar Fort. She married Paul L. Blackhurst on Dec. 19, 1935 in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1995. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many and varied positions including includ-ing music and choir director and teacher in all organizations. She was in the presidency of both stake YWMIA and Relief Society. She was a member of the Singing Mothers organization for many years. She was a member of the Variety Club which performed community service and service in the Strawberry Days celebration Harold W. Nielson Harold Walter (Had) Nielsen, 82, Pleasant Grove, passed away peacefully in his sleep July 1, 1995 at the Family Living Center in Vineyard. He was born June 7, 1913 in Pleasant Grove to Harry Elias and Persha Sara Durrant Nielson. He attended school in Pleasant Grove. He married his sweetheart Mildred Elsie Bamhart on April 9, 1935. They were sealed in the Provo LDS Temple April 4, 1989. He worked in the mines at Mercur, for the Bureau of Reclamation, the CC's and in time Pearl L. Allridge Pearl Larsen Allridge, 96, died June 29, 1995 in American Fork. She was born Dec. 21, 1898 in Molen, Emery County, to John F. and Ellen Hansen Larsen. She married Raymond Allridge Dec. 27, 1916 in Molen. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple July 2, 1927. He died Nov. 4, 1933. She worked as a practical nurse. She was active in the LDS Church, having served a mission to Roanoke, Virg., as a teacher in various var-ious organizations, and as a visiting visit-ing teacher for over 60 years. She was a very caring and loving lov-ing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She spent a lifetime of service to others. She is survived by her children: gjl for many years, For the past 15 years she has presided with her husband, Paul, over a family home evening on the first Sunday of each month. The meeting included their complete extended family children, grandchildren, . great-grandchildren and spouses. She is survived by a daughter and four sons: Mrs. Harold (Colleen) Judd, Salt Lake City, Larry P. Blackhurst (Carol) and Kent Blackhurst, both of Pleasant Grove; Pharis Blackhurst (Pam), American Fork; Dean Blackhurst (Chris), Lindon; 28 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Arvilla Hacking, Littleton, Colo. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters: Woodruff, Mary and June. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Stake Center, 275 E. 500 South, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. became a heavy equipment operator opera-tor and a member of the Operating Engineers, eventually having to take a medical disability. He was also a World War II veteran, vet-eran, having left his young family in order to serve his country. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years; three sons and two daughters: Etta May (Gene) Bowers, Virgil (Bud) (LaRae) Nielson, Bill (Ruth) Nielson, all of' Pleasant Grove; Sharon (Newell) Curtis and Dan (Chris) Nielson, both of American Fork. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, at 11 a.m. in the Timpanogos 11th Ward Chapel, 400 E. 20 North, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. She was a "Cookie Grandma to 34 grandchildren; 103 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and' five step-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Vera Maxfield, Salt Lake City; Chester, Larsen, Salt Lake City; Ella Maxfield, Emery; Ray Larsen, Ferron; Leonard Larsen, Ferron; Edna Tyler, Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen, a brother, John, a sister, Aprilla, three grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a son-in-law, Ted Wycherley. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1, in the American Fork 5th Ward.
