Leadership Leader-ship Week" Hundreds of farmers and housewives house-wives of bur rural homes will take ovantftee of the educational oppor tunities of the leadership next week at the B. Y. U. , Fortunate maeea, are those who can leave' the farm and the home for a few hours each day to get renewed hope and stimula and a broadened view which all leads to a fullerand richer life. Dr. Thomas L. Martin is giving a splendid lecture on the Importance of dairy sanitation. He has made microscopic studies of organisims found In the cows udder. Prof. Grant Ivins and Prof. Beth Shaw are giving giv-ing lectures on some phases of poultry poul-try and . horticulture work. Here Is an opportunity to profit by this work. . . "Home Products" Legal Notices Mr". J. W. Gillman, president of the Utah State Beet Growers' Association Asso-ciation and Vice-president of the National . association, said In effect Saturday at the County Beet Growers Grow-ers Association meeting that "This county and state can never prosper unless the people patronize and use at home the products we produce and market". The beet growers went on record favoring complete use of Utah Beet Sugar. Over 11,000 acres of beets were grown In Utah County last year. The crop was a godsend during dur-ing these times. Our local mereh--ants and stores should be loyal to sell only our sugar, only our butter and onlyOur-own eaayied products. Substitutes have no place In our stores. In like manner, fanners and -housewives should purchase only home produced goods. Consider the question DO YOU use any Oleo- marBlnecajiesuearkijanned goods or other products? Especially those put up in ioreign places? Well, if you do, it Is one way to delay the return of prosperity and continue the depression. : - 0 FEED 19 LIMITING FACTOR IN NUMBER OF DAIRY -COWS "One of the greatest drawbacks of the aairy Industry in Utah is, the lack of feed;" said Professor George B. Caine at the annual extension service conference held recently t the Utah State Agricultural College . "Some are advocating doubling the - number of dairy cows to Utah, which would then place 200,600 cows in the state. The fact is that only a few counties can increase the number of cows because of feed shortage." Professor Caine pointed out that sheep, beef cattle, hogs, horses and NOTICE, TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, December 28, 1932. Notice is hereby given that Junius J.
