Nlelson, 53, died at his hoine early Sunday morning after several years' illness of miners con, sumption. He was born February 19, 1879, at Pleasant Grove and has resided here all of his life, except seven years at Mammoth. Utah-While Utah-While residing at Mammoth he was ward clerk and superintendent of the Sunday School. He has filled many offices of trust for the church-He church-He was assistant superintendent of Sunday Schools and for three years he was first counselor in the Third ward bishopric. He was superintendent superin-tendent of the city- water works system at the time of his death, which position he had held for eleven ele-ven years, -r -Surviving are his widow, Mrs- uurena. The regular school election for Pleasant Grove and Lehi districts will be held on 1 Tuesday, December 8th- This election takes place every four years for these two districts, alternating' every two years with the American Fork and Lincoln districts, making an election in the Alpine district every two years. There is a friendly rivalry among the aspirants aspi-rants who are seeking this office. Among the men from Pleasant Grove mentioned for this honor this year are Chris Fugal, James H. Walker, C L.
