Thursday afternoon Mrs. William R. Hansen entertained, the occasion occas-ion being her birthday. Mesdames B. F. Moffett, Lenard Pett, Wm. Elsmore, Reed H. Robinson, Leland Mitchell, Moral D. Steele and Jesse gpafford were present. The ladies spent the afternoon in sewing and chatting and a hot dinner was served serv-ed early in the evening. Mrs. Howell Davis continues to improve at her home following an attack of pneumonia. A baby daughter was bot-n last week to Mrs- Davis and several days after she contracted pneumonia with which she wan quite seriously ill for a day or two, but which was successfully checked and she is how feeling much better.
