RAYMOND SCOTT ORMOND (Connie Fordham) Reception Honors Connie Fordham and Scott Ormond After LDS Temple Rites The Salt Lake Temple was the setting Friday Sept. 12 for the wedding of Connie Fae Fordham and Raymond Scott Ormond. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Blake T. Fordham and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond D. Ormond, all of Pleasant Grove. A lovely garden reception was given the same evening by the bride's parents at their home. The bride's gown was a beautiful beau-tiful full length delustered slipper slip-per satin in a line style, designed de-signed and made by the bride. It was trimmed in rich lace with high lace neckline and long lace cuffed sleeves. She wore a veil of sheerest illusion, which was released from a delicate del-icate pearl and lace flower arrangement. ar-rangement. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of pink roses with feathered feath-ered carnations. Attending the bride was Mrs. Bill Jarvis, her sister. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Genevie Taylor, Christin Taylor, Mrs. LeGrande (Charlotte) Bullock and Wendy Wen-dy Fordham. Their dresses featured an empire waist and were pink dotted swiss. They carried a single pink rose with pink streamers. Flower girls were Robbin Fordham, Angelia Bullock and Roxanne Jarvis. They wore white dotted swiss trimmed in pink and carried small white baskets with pink and blue flowers. Shellee and Penny Fordham carried thank you notes to the guests in white baskets. Mrs. Fordham and Mrs. Ormond Or-mond wore avocado green dresses with corsages of pink cynbidium orchids. Charlie Fowles performed best man duties while Steve Fordham, brother of the bride, was head usher. Other ushers were Bill Jarvis, LeGrande Bullock, Gerry Fordham and Don Fordham. Gift bearers were Todd Fordham, Ford-ham, Dennis Jarvis, Gene Bullock Bul-lock and Steven Shoell. Beverly Fordham, Helen Fordham, Wendy Carter, Sherry Carling and Carolyn Bezzant were in charge of the gifts. Laurel Baxter was at the guest book. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fordham and Mr. and Mrs. David Da-vid Shoell greeted guests. The bride was honored by showers given by Christine Taylor Tay-lor and Genevie Taylor, and alone al-one given by Mrs. Bill Jarvis. The couple honeymooned in Southern and Eastern Utah and are at home in American Fork where they will live while Scott continues his education at the Brigham Young University. He attended Utah State University at Logan last year. |
