Show Alex. Lund Buried Here On Wednesday Internment was made Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery of the body of Alexander H. Lund, former resident res-ident of this city. Mr. Lund died Friday in a Salt' Lake City hospital of a heart ailment. ail-ment. He was born April 19, 1883, in Denmark, a son of R. H. and Petrine Jensen Lund. He came to the United States 54 years ago, settling in Pleasant Grove. He married Anna M. Albean in May, 1904 in the Salt Lake Temple and moved to Salt Lake City. Mr. Lund was employed in the credit department of the Gardner and Adams Clothing Store for 12 years and then worked as manager man-ager of the safety deposit department, depart-ment, Walker Bank and Trust Co. for 19 years. He was a member of the seventies seven-ties quorum in Lincoln ward, church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He also was a member mem-ber and past president of the Danish Dan-ish Apollo Club. Survivors include his widow, a son, Eldon A. Lund, Salt Lake; four brothers, and two sisters, Alfred H. Lund, Gunnison; Mrs. Caroline Bohn, Adolph and Djalm-ar Djalm-ar Lund and Mrs. Elvira Davis, Salt Lake City, and Sophus Lund, Los Angeles, and three grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. in Highland High-land Park ward chapel, by Bishop Bish-op J. E. Hamilton. |
