Show Respected Mother Summoned Summon-ed by Death One of Pleasant Grove's most beloved and respected mothers, Airs. Mary Robinson Halliday. 63. passed away Monday morning in the Aird i hospital, at Provo, following a ! month's illness caused from a heart j ailment. She was the widow of j John R. Halliday. who died about a i year ago. Mr. Halliday was the agent for the Union Facific Ra;'.-road Ra;'.-road company at Pleasant Grove for many years. Mrs. Halliday was born at American Amer-ican Fork, December 25. 1872, the daughter of William and Orpha Adams Ad-ams Robinson. She was married in the Logan temple August 27, 1390 to Mr. Halliday. She was the mother of four children, chil-dren, three of whom survive, as follows: fol-lows: Mrs. Kate Jacobs, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Fern Laudie and John Halliday, Provo. Surviving also are eight grandchildren, one great grand- child and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Sabina Allen, Mrs. Olive Ol-ive Howard, Mrs. Florence Wolfgang Wolf-gang and Mrs. Ida Mann of Salt Lake City; Nathan and John Robinson, Rob-inson, American Fork; Mrs. Blanche Jackson, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Millie Sterling of Los Angeles, California. Cal-ifornia. Mrs. Halliday has served as an officer in the Relief Society for a number of years and has been a leader in social and civic affairs in our community. Funeral services were held in the stake tabernacle Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock p. m., and interment made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. ceme-tery. Junius A.
