Show Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Annie Mills Impressive funeral services, were held at the Timpanogos Stake Tab-beruacle Tab-beruacle Sunday at 1 p. m. to pay last respects to a loved mother, Mrs. Annie Mills. Bishop JunlJUi A. West was In charge of arrangements and Counselor F.lvln Thorne. conducted. Mrs. Mary R. Walker sang. "Rock of Ages, accompanied by Lucille Parduhn. Prayer was. offered by President W. W. Waroi:k and a solo was sung by Reva Fugal. accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. IL P. Jones. James D. Thorne, now of Salt Lake, spoke extoling the devotion to her family, her kindness and helpfulness. help-fulness. Reg. White ol West Jordan, Jor-dan, a nephew, also spoke. A piano solo by Howard Paxman was followed follow-ed with closing, remarks and the gratitude of the family were expressed ex-pressed by Counselor Thorne. Mrs. Walker sang as a closing number "Going Home", and Harold Bullock offered the closing prayer. The grave I at West Jordan was dedicated by Frank Hansen of that community. There was an unusually beautiful and profuse number of floral offerings. offer-ings. Mrs. Mills was the mother of three and grandmother of eight. Her husband. hus-band. Joseph Mills, died when her children were very young and she has devoted her life to their care, as well as being helpful to many others in need. |
