She was preceded in death by a daughter: LuDean S Pugh. Services were Monday, Sept. 7 in the Lehi 16th Ward LDS Church. Survivors include her husband of Lehi; three Archie Hild Pleasant Grove and Annabelle Melton, Stinnett, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. Services were Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. He served in the Army during World War II. He had been employed as a policeman in Norwood, Pa., as an oil shale worker in Rifle, Colo., and as a roofer and guard at school crossings locally. Survivors include one son and three daughters: Harold B. Hild, Beulah, Colo.; Etta Becker and Bessie Kuykendall, both of Myrtle Birk Birk Johnson, Lake View; eight grandchildren, grand-children, 24 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; grand-children; one half-brother, half-brother, Don Huggard, Park City. She was preceded in death by one son, Dr. Arthur Frank Birk, and three grandchildren. Funeral was Saturday, Satur-day, Sept. 5, in the Walker Mortuary Chapel, Provo. She was an active member of the LDS Church and has served as a visiting teacher for 30 years, and nursery coordinator for the Provo lst-7th Wards and the Provo Stake. She was very active in politics serving as a registration agent for District 3 for the Republican Party, and as an election judge for the district. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary !. Alfred Leary Mexico; five grandchildren; grand-children; one great grandchild; one brother, Dan Leary of Salt Lake City, and one sister, Mary Mitchell of Salt Lake City.
