Show Rhoda B. Clark Rhoda Barnes Clark, 87, died Aug. 30, 1983 at Utah Valley Hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1895 in Lehi to George Franklin and Violet Aden Colledge Barnes. She married Clifton R. Clark July 9, 1913 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 14, 1981. She was a member of the LDS Church. She attended schools in Lehi and lived in Pleasant Grove after her marriage. Survivors include one son and four daughters, Mrs. C.E. (Orpha) Beers and Mrs. Alta Grove; Eldon Barnes, Sandy. Services were held Saturday in the Pleasant Grove Filth Ward. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop Frank Mills of the Pleasant Grove Fifth Ward. Pallbearers were Gary E. Beers, Larry R. Beers, Craig L. Beers, Dallas D. Clark, Ronald G. Clark, Lyle R. Clark. The honorary pallbearers were Elmer Belm.an, Boyd A. Larsen and Cole Brackenbury. The family prayer was given by DeWayne Iverson and the prelude and postlude were played by LaPreal Clark. The invocation was by Craig L. Beers. A piano duet was played by Sharlyn Iverson and Jacqueline Bunnell. The life sketch was given by Carolyn Clark Burkinshaw and the vocal solo by Boyd A. Larsen, "In The Garden," accompanied by Charolyn Iverson. Speakers were Shari Larsen, Bishop Gary Bunnell and Bishop Mills. The benediction was by Kent D. Beers. Dedication of the grave was by Eldon Barnes. Noble, both ot Pleasant Grove; Clifton R. Clark, Jr., of Corinne; Mrs. Lawrence (Violet) Stromberg of Salt Lake) Mrs. Howard J. (Elda) Chnstensen of Midvale; 12 grandchildren; grand-children; 31 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; grand-children; one brother and one sister, Erma Tomlinson of Pleasant |
