Show Butch Grace sang, "How Far is Heaven," and Carl Batty offered the benediction. Dedication of the grave in the American Fork City Cemetery was by an uncle, Delt Batty. He then married Gaylene Standifird on Sept. 1, 1968 and they were divorced. He married Marilyn Beckslead on Nov. 18, 1980 in Leadville, Colorado. He was a master mechanic lor Jelco Construction Co., Savage Brothers and Konworlh Trucking, lie was Bill Harruh's personal mechanic. Al the time of his death he was employed by J.F. Shea of Currant Creek. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces in France. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife; one son and two (laughters, Dodd, Lisa and Leslie Bennett, all of Huntington; his parents, American Fork; one brother and five sisters, Mrs. Ray (Joyce) Moss, Jerome, Idaho; Mrs. Frank (Colleen) Allen, Reno, Nov.; Mrs. Howard (Lova) Peters and Frank Bennett, both of American Fork; Mrs. John (Idonna) Adamson, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Jack (Connie) Taylor, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel, under the direction of Bishop James M. Bowman of the American Fork Seventh Ward. Jack Ray Taylor offered the family prayer and Jed Moss played prelude and postlude music. William Price offered the invocation in-vocation and Connie and Butch Grace sang a duet, "Make the World Go Away." Kaye Hall gave a life sketch written by Connie B. Taylor and Connie and Butch Grace sang, "Wings of Dove." Blaine Batty was the speaker, Connie and Randy Bennett AMERICAN FORK-Randy FORK-Randy Batty Bennett, 35, of American Fork, died Friday, Sept. 4, 1981, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. ac-cident. He was born Jan. 26, 1946 in American Fork, a son of Frank G. and Lettie Batty Bennett. He married Donna Hemerick and they were later divorced. |
